Betz, Rossi Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home

Betz, Rossi Bellinger & Stewart, commonly known as BRBS, is a family of funeral homes serving communities in Montgomery and Fulton counties in upstate New York. The brand currently operates three locations across the Amsterdam metropolitan area. BRBS was formally established in 2004, when John Stewart, Jack Betz, and their partners merged several independent funeral home operations — each with its own local history in the communities they served — into a single family of locations. The combined founding lineages of those operations trace back to 1860, representing more than 140 years of accumulated local history across both counties at the time of the merger. Each BRBS location operates in its own community with its own staff and facility. Families work directly with the staff at their chosen location throughout the arrangement and service process. Burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need planning, and veterans services including military honors are available at all three BRBS locations. Spanish-language services are available at each location. The locations share a common origin as independently operated funeral homes that served their communities before joining the BRBS brand, a background reflected in how each maintains its own local presence and staff within the shared brand identity.
