Warren Pope Brusie and Helen Brusie joined the business in 1941 and formally established Brusie Funeral Home the following year. Following Warren Pope Brusie's death in 1970, his son Warren Albert Brusie assumed management at age 27. Third-generation family members Marc Brusie and Amy Brusie joined the firm in 1990 and 1992, respectively. The location also houses a functioning miniature Model T Ford hearse, a rare historical artifact maintained on the premises.
