Sunnyside Memorial Gardens

Sunnyside Memorial Gardens is a cemetery in Happy Valley, Oregon. Sunnyside Memorial Gardens is co-located with Sunnyside Funeral & Cremation, a full-service funeral home and event center operating on the same grounds. The cemetery serves the surrounding Clackamas County communities and offers burial services, cremation services, funeral and memorial services, pre-need cemetery property, veterans services including military honors, and ash scattering assistance.

Sunnyside Memorial Gardens was founded in 1961 by Donovan Elroy Olson under the name Sunnyside Chimes Memorial Garden. The property is situated in what was historically known as Deardorff Valley, renamed Happy Valley in 1909. The original design included award-winning landscaped gardens with roses, a meadow-style setting across approximately six acres, and a carillon tower. In the early 1980s the facility expanded to include a funeral home and reception center. The cemetery joined the Little Chapel of the Chimes network in 1990.

The facility includes a mausoleum, cremation gardens and niches, and build-to-suit cemetery property options.

Sunnyside Memorial Gardens does not operate an on-site crematory. Pet cremation and pet burial are not available.
